Almost every day we recieve them. Small uniquely printet documents. The recipt today is more than a proof of payment for services or goods. It is now also a note of an action. Date, time and place for the action is notet on the receipt. One for you, unique document.   The ones that you at this moment have in youre walat as specific for you as your DNA.

During approximately 7months I saved every reciept I recieved. These recipts are mounted in chronological order throughout 12 hand made books. In this context they create a diary. Missing in these diaries   are emotions, feelings and thoughts. With all the information given on todays recips it is still easy to find out more that necessary about the person behind the recipts.

The diray is usually the most private object that we posess. An unwritten law forbids you to read another persons diary. To do so would be to brutally force youself into a persons mind. All the 12 books are vaccum packed. To take part of the content you must break the seal.

When is the artwork more valuable? When the content is known and the seal is broken, or unknown and intact?

Technique: Silc screen. Acid free paper and cardboard, Vellum, thread and plastic bags.
